We are excited to announce the renaming of the San Joaquin and Calaveras Counties Electrical JATC training center and the launch of our new website.
This name change reflects the quality training that our apprentices receive. During the five years that the apprentices are in the program they receive 8000 hours of on the job training and 900 hours of technical training, and the major units for an AS degree in Electrical Technology. When they graduate from the apprenticeship, they are the best trained electricians in the nation, with the skills and knowledge to build both their future, and our electrical infrastructure. Best of all, they will graduate with no student debt, a career they can be proud of, and benefits to support themselves and their families.
