Continued Education
Every three years, Journeymen are required to complete 32 hours of continuing education units (CEUs) for the renewal of the State electrician license. The San Joaquin Electrical training institute offer both in-person courses as well as partners with BlueVolt CE University to help Journeymen meet their requirements.
State registered apprentices are exempt from certification but must take and pass the test before “turning out” from the apprenticeship program.

CEU Classes
SJETI offers courses online and in person at the Stockton Electrical Training Center. All courses count towards the 32-hour requirement of continued education units, unless noted otherwise. Contact the office to register.
