We were happy to host the 18th Annual Construction Trades Career Fair here at the San Joaquin Electrical Training Institute on September 15, 2023. There were over 800 attendees from the local High Schools along with their teachers, counselors, and school board members. The attendees started their day with a presentation by Greg Vinclet, Chair of the San Joaquin Area Apprenticeship Coordinators Association and Training Coordinator for the local Pipe Trades, and John Brown, Vice-Chair of the San Joaquin Area Apprenticeship Coordinators Association and Training Director for the Central Valley JATC.
After the presentation about apprenticeship opportunities, the attendees went to the hands-on booths where they were able to interact directly with the 17 trades in attendance and engage in hands on activities.
